An English silver open faced military deck chronometer with carrousel, circa 1912. Delivered to The Board of the Admiralty with documentation of the chronometer test at the Royal Observatory of Greenwich from 1912.
Very rare carrousel movement according to the patent of Bahne Bonniksen, plate completely signed and numbered, additional English military marking, top quality with diamond endstone.
Signed and numbered white enamel dial with Roman numerals, military marking, subsidiary seconds and blued steel hands. Plain, presumably, test case. Comes with wooden box.
