An unusual English silver open faced clockwatch with 14 days movement and Massey Typ II lever escapement according to Edward Massey, circa 1844. Half plate movement with large barrel, three armed steel balance. Silver dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, gilt hands and florally engraved center. Case with engine turned middle, case maker’s punch mark JW (Joseph Walton).  Comes with original winding key.
