An English rare deck chronometer of the British Royal Navy with 24h dial and three part mahogany box and with sunk ivory badge, circa 1895.
Silver stepped case with silver dome; white enamel dial with Roman numerals, a 24 hour dial, a sunk subsidiary dial for constant seconds, a sunk subsidiary dial for 30h power reserve indication and blued spade hands; full plate movement, chain/fusee, spring detent escapement, gold screw compensation balance and freesprung Breguet hairspring. Movement en dial are both signed.
