Open faced pocket watch by Henry Grendon

A rare English open faced single handed pre balance spring verge pocket watch, circa 1660. Fire gilt full plate movement with gut/fusee, trapezoid movement pillars, verge escapement, plain two armed iron balance without balance spring, fine florally engraved balance cock. Gold coloured, grained dial with champlevé enamelled Roman numerals and poker hand. Fire gilded silver plain case. Movement signed.
