A heavy English silver observation watch with escapement and sustained seconds in double-case, circa 1810.
Early calculating armature movement with a diamond capstone, signed, and dust cover denotes patent. Enamel dial with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track, subsidiary dial for the seconds, red gold spade hands, and blued steel seconds hand. Silver polished double-case with hallmarks 1810, and the inside engraved with a coat of arms.
