Large pocket watch for the Ottoman market

An especially large pocket watch with four cases, made for the Ottoman market by Markwick Markham in London, England, circa 1776. This watch has four cases crafted from silver and covered with tortoise shell. The outer case has a typical Ottoman design in high relief, the 2nd case has tortoise shell and ornamental nail decoration and both inner cases are plain and have matching London Hallmarks from 1776. The white enamel dial has Ottoman hour numerals and black steel hands and the movement has an early English verge escapement.
The dial and movement are signed.
