A splendid English silver tortoiseshell pair cased verge pocket watch, circa 1697.
Full plate movement with chain/fusee and three-arm steel balance. Silver champlevé dial with Roman hours, five-minute Arabic outer track, and steel hands. Two cases: a plain silver inner case and a tortoiseshell-covered protection case decorated with inlaid silver. Signed on dial and movement.
