An extravagant English verge half hunting cased pocket watch with royal portrait on bridge, circa 1819.
Very rare silver half hunting case version with visible dial, hallmarks London 1819 and fly spring on both sides. Full plate movement with unusual decoration, verge escapement, bridge with royal portrait, crown on top, main plate signed and numbered. Raised dial with outer and inner scale for reading the time through the spring lid, special, original half hunting case hands.
