This exquisite timepiece is an exclusive and rare 18 Carat multicolour gold open faced verge pocket watch, dating back to circa 1740. It features a signed frosted gilt full plate movement, chain and fusee, blued screws, square movement pillars, three-arm steel balance, verge escapement, engraved and pierced balance bridge with polished steel coqueret and ruby endstone, and a large silver regulator disc with blued steel indicator.

The case back is adorned with two doves, musical instruments, fruit, and applied decorations, all meticulously crafted in multicolour gold, with opening buttons and a pendant set with rubies. The watch is further distinguished by its signed white enamel dial with radial Roman hours, outer Arabic numerals, and decorative gold hands. In excellent condition, this timepiece represents a rare and exceptional example of 18th-century craftsmanship.
