Gold perpetual watch by Breguet
–
A rare and exquisite Swiss gold limited edition open-faced jump hour perpetuelle watch with keyless winding and up-and-down indication, circa 1993. The watch showcases a calibre 90 pink gilded movement with lever escapement, jewelled to the centre, compensation balance, parachute suspension, precision regulation, a large crescent-shaped platinum pendulum-form winding weight, centrally supported by a fixed plate running through a recess to the edge of the weight, and the weight is buffered by banking springs. It is signed Breguet, No. 1. The silver guilloché dial features contrasting engine-turned finishes, a large subsidiary dial for minutes, an aperture for hours above on a frosted gold disc, a sector for power reserve, and a satin-finished oval plaque signed and numbered Breguet, No. 1034.

The 18k yellow gold case has polished bezels, a milled band, and a glazed case back, signed Breguet 1034F 1/10. It comes with a Breguet certificate dated September 10, 2020, confirming that this watch was the first piece in a limited series of 10.

The movement is running smoothly and appears to be in good condition. The power reserve is registered properly both when the watch is wound via the perpetuelle weight and when manually wound. The hours are transitioning smoothly on the hour. The dial and case are in very good condition, although the crystal has a couple of small scratches.
Signed: Breguet
