According to the Extract from the Archives, the movement of this watch was made in 1923 and encased and sold in 1936. At this time it is described as having a silvered dial with raised gold indexes. It is likely that the present and extremely attractive black dial was fitted sometime in the 1950s before being re-sold by Eberhard in Milan.
