A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced Art Deco dress pocket watch made by Patek Philippe & Co in Geneva, circa 1936. This exceptional timepiece has a mechanical crown winding movement with a lever escapement, micrometric adjustment, and classic Geneva stripes decoration. It is stamped with the prestigious Geneva hallmark. The signed Art Deco three tone dial features applied gold Arabic numerals at 3, 9, and 12 o’clock, an outer minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and gold leaf hands. The watch is housed in a polished 18 carat solid yellow gold case. It has a hinged snap back closure adorned with a stylized Art Deco monogram, a fluted winding crown, and a distinctive rectangular suspension bow.
