A very fine and unusual Swiss, 18k yellow gold lady’s pendant watch with an engraved case with red enamel background, circa 1900. A solid, bark finished case, hinged bezel, back and cuvette, back decorated with engraved floral and reed pattern overlapped by a diamond and pearl-set snake, cuvette with red guilloche enamel.

White enamel dial with painted blue Arabic numerals, outer minute track. Gold Louis XV hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, plain three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Case numbered.
