A very fine Swiss, large yellow 18k gold keyless dress watch, circa 1920.
Made for Eberhard Milan by Vacheron & Constantin, Genève. A solid, polished case. Hinged gold cuvette. Matte silver dial with champleve Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial, the centre with engine-turned decoration. Gold spade hands. A frosted gilt movement, 17 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
