A fine Swiss yellow gold open faced keyless lever watch, circa 1917. Retailed by Tiffany & Co. This watch features a nickel finished ultrathin mechanical lever movement with 18 jewels. It includes a gold cuvette and a gilt dial with Roman numerals, sunken subsidiary seconds, outer railway minute divisions, and Breguet hands. The 18 carat yellow gold case is designed in the Murat style, with chased and engraved bezels and a hinged case back. The case, dial, movement, and cuvette are all signed by Patek Philippe, with the dial additionally signed by the retailer. Accessories include a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives, confirming the watch’s production in 1917 and its subsequent sale on June 2, 1919.

The watch movement is in working condition. The dial only has very light spotting. The hinges are nice and tight. There are some minor signs of opening to the side of the case. The engravings are nice and crisp. Overall, it’s a very nice, crisp watch.
