Quarter repeating gold pocket watch

A fine quarter repeating pocket watch with painted on enamel dial, circa 1820. Matte gilt full plate beautifully engraved movement with verge escapement converted to Swiss lever, three-arm bimetallic compensation balance with flat balance spring, pierced and engraved continental cock, blued regulation dial.
Gold engine-turned band and back. Hinged and sprung gilt metal cuvette hinged to the movement ring.
Gold enamel with Arabic numerals dial on white enamel lappet reserves, outer engraved minute track and in the centre an enamelled with a scene of a man catching a fish and a woman doing laundry near the village, decorative gilt hands.
Quarter repeating on two gongs activated by depressing the pendant.
