A fine Swiss yellow gold open-faced watch, circa 1900, manual winding nickel lever jeweled movement with two seals of Geneva marks.
Silver dial with painted black Breguet numerals in an outer reserve centered by an engraved reserve, subsidiary seconds, outer minute track.
Polished 18k yellow gold case, hinged cuvette, monogram to the back, reeded band, dial, case and movement signed.

Haas Neveux and Cie. went from B. Haas Jeune and Cie. by Benjamin Haas and was based in Geneva. The company has branches in New York, Paris, Cannes and Besançon. The company was listed as a “Manufacture”. In 1902, Haas Neveux and Cie. the first prize for precision in the competition of the prestigious “Observatoire de Geneve”. In 1913 the company received a Swiss patent no. 63652. In 1914, the company won the prize for the best marine chronometer in the prestigious Geneva Observatory competition, as well as several other prizes, including a record price for best regulation. In the same year, the company won a Grand Prix at the exhibition in Bern. In 1929, Haas Neveux and Cie. Member of the jury at the World Exhibition in Barcelona. 1939 was the last year that the company was listed.

In 1991, the company was re-founded, today this brand belongs to the SWC Company Ltd. in South Korea, previously Samsung Watch Co.
