A large and heavy 18 carat gold Belgian watch with 3 complications: cylinder escapement with quarter repeater and self striking hours and quarters and date, made by Laguesse, à Liege, Belgium, circa 1800. The open faced case of this watch was crafted from 18 carat gold and the white enamel dial has minute markers, black Roman 5 minute numerals, blued steel Breguet hands. This Interesting movement features a cylinder escapement.
