A fine French 18 carat yellow gold hunting cased chronograph keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1889. This watch features a mechanical movement with manual winding and lever escapement. It has a white enamel dial with Roman numerals for the hours, black and red baton hour markers, Arabic five minute divisions, a sunk subsidiary dial for constant seconds, a central chronograph hand, and gold pear shaped hands. The yellow 18 carat gold case is decorated at the front with the letter F and a floral design forming the letter A.

The watch is accompanied by a gold plated chain and a leather case inscribed: Lefebvre Fils aîné joaillier fabricant Paris 106 rue de Rivoli Trouville exposition universelle médaille d’or Paris 1889, on which are written the initials A.F.
