A French 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch made by Vauchez in Paris, circa 1805. It has a key wound mechanical movement with a signed cock. The white enamel dial shows Roman numerals for the hours, an outer minute track with Arabic fifteen minute numerals, a winding square at 2 o’clock, and filigree hands. The round 18 carat yellow gold case has a plain back.
