A French rare and very fine gold and enamel pocket Ankerchronometer with digital calendar and moon, circa 1885.
18 carat pink gold case, spring lid with rare enamel monogram, enameled letters L, E, 2 x T, 2 x O, N & E, dome with inscription of movement quality and signature. Very fine movement quality, early Ankerchronometer with golden wheels and ring lever, very big balance. White enamel dial with Roman hours, Arabic minutes, rare digital calendar, date and week day indication, sunk subsidiary dial for the seconds with opening for moon phase and pink gold hands. Case, movement and dial signed.
