French gilt pre-balance miniature rock crystal watch Circa 1660

A very fine and extremely rare pre-balance miniature rock crystal watch of lobed form with date indication, circa 1660. The case is firegilt, two piece frame, lobed and fluted rock crystal cover and back, pierced pendant and button final. The dial is gilt, florally engraved, engraved centre depicting a landscape, silvered chapter ring, engraved Roman hours and half hour division, turnable date ring, finely cut blued iron hand. Full plate brass movement, frosted,  balustershaped movement pillars, gut/fusee, verge escapement, plain two arm steel balance without spring, floraley pierced and engraved balance cock, top lock with blued/gilt click work, silver regulator disc
