A very fine and rare Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel, turquoise and pearl set heart shaped lady’s pendant watch with concealed vinaigrette, circa 1820. Accompanied by a period fitted box. A matted, heart shaped case, the band with applied laurel decoration, applied gold flower sprays set with turquoises on the front, the back decorated to match with a central opalescent guilloché enamel panel decorated with a pansy flower, a hinged panel at the tip opening to reveal the vinaigrette grille, pear set bezel, suspension loops with a gold chain.

Gold dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, the centre engine turned and blued steel hands. A matte gilt full plate movement, cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, a verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, three arm brass balance, flat balance spring, continental balance cock with polished steel endplate and silver regulation dial.
