Gold hunting cased lever with chronograph

A fine and rare Swiss, very large, minute repeating, 18K gold keyless pocket watch with a chronograph, circa 1900. The front cover is applied with an engraved coat of arms, the back cover is similarly decorated with another coat of arms. Hinged gold cuvette with engine-turned border and inscribed with the technical details, glazed gold-rimmed cover to view the movement.

White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and concentric fifths of a second track calibrated to 300 units, subsidiary seconds. Gold Louis XV hands. A frosted gilt movement with blued steel chronograph work and decoration, 23 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs with blued steel hammers activated by a slide on the band. Cuvette signed.
