Platinum lever pocket watch by Cartier
–
A French platinum open faced watch with a double chapter ring dial and matching chain, circa 1994. The watch features a mechanical movement, a lever escapement, and 20 jewels. It has a silvered guilloché dial with Roman radial hour markers, an outer minutes track, an inner 24 hour ring, and Breguet style hands. The platinum case is plain and has a snap on case back. It is signed on the case, dial, and movement.
–
This watch features a modest yet refined silver on silver mono chromatic dial and case, exuding pure luxury in a sophisticated manner. It comes complete with the original heavy platinum chain.

–
The present watch is a continuation of Cartier’s design from the 1920s. It features a double chapter ring with hour markers from numbers one through twelve on the outer ring in Roman numerals and thirteen through twenty four on the inner ring in Arabic numerals. This is similar to an example founded by Edmond Jaeger in 1911.
–
The pocket watch is in good working condition, with some minor signs of wear, including tiny pinhead dings on the bezel that are visible to the naked eye. There are also some minor signs of wear from opening and light surface wear on the case back. The watch has been well maintained, with two very crisp platinum hallmarks at the bottom of the case. Moreover, the Cartier platinum chain is quite heavy and shows some light surface wear
