A fine and rare Swiss, 18K yellow gold, key-wind, minute repeating pocket watch, circa 1820. A solid, polished case, engine-turned bezel, band and back, hinged gold engraved cuvette. Guilloche silver dial with painted radial Roman numerals on a plain reserve, outer minute track. Blued steel Breguet hands. A gilt brass movement, ten jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, repeating on two gongs activated by a slide in the band. Cuvette signed.
