Silver quarter repeating coach watch with alarm

An early coach watch made by Julien LeRoy in Paris, France, circa 1760. The magnificent silver open faced case of this watch has sound openings and is engraved on the back, showing the sun and floral tendrils. The white enamel dial has Arabic hours, outer minute divisions with Arabic 15 minute numerals, a disc for the alarm in the center and very fine gold hands. The movement is fitted with a highly complicated verge escapement, two barrels, self strike, a quarter repeater and an alarm.
The dial and movement are signed.
