A French very rare verge watch with bras en l’air automaton and additional figured automaton, circa 1790. Silver case with French punch, case maker Carl Wagner; verge escapement, signed “Torguet Paris“; white enamel dial with central figure, which, when the pendant is pressed down, shows the minutes on one arm and the hours on the retrograde scale with the other arm, and, in addition, while the movement is running, moves the head left and right.
