Pocket watch with original Breguet certificate

A very fine and rare French “Montre de Moyenne Grandeur”, 18K gold quarter repeating hunting cased pocket watch with ruby cylinder escapement, circa 1799.
Sold to a Spanish gentleman for Monsieur Gibernac, on 28 Fructidor an 6, (September 16, 1799), for 960 Francs, bought back and then sold to the Prince de Wurtemberg par Guthaës, on November 21, 1842, for 1600 Francs. Case with mastermark LS, engine turned. Hinged gold cuvette.
Gilt movement, standing barrel, ruby cylinder escapement, three-arm gold balance, blued steel flat balance spring, pare-chute suspension, temperature compensation curb, index regulator, repeating with two hammers on two gongs activated by a pull-and-twist piston in the band.
Frosted silver dial with radial Roman numerals and outer dot minute indexes. Gold Breguet hands.
