Unusual pocket watch with precision lever escapement

An unusual ‘first quality’ gold full hunter cased watch, made by A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte, Germany, circa 1939. This watch features a numbered case with three lids, which are all crafted from 14 carat gold and the white stepped enamel dial has black Arabic hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and gold Breguet hands. The quality 1B, numbered movement features an A. Lange & Söhne precision lever escapement, a fine adjusting device and a gold lever.
The case and movement have matching numbers and the case, dial and movement are signed.
