An impressive, rare Louis XV gold full hunter cased watch, made by A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte, Germany, circa 1915. The numbered Louis XV full hunter case of this watch was crafted from 14 carat gold and features the A. Lange & Söhne stamp and has an outer hinge. The white enamel dial is marked Deutsche Uhrenfabrikation, Glashütte-SA, has Arabic hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and Louis XV gold hands. The numbered and glazed movement is also marked Deutsche Uhrenfabrikation, Glashütte-SA and features a precision lever escapement of the quality Deutsche Uhrenfabrikation Glashütte, a gold lever, a gold escape wheel and a fine adjusting device.
The case and movement have matching numbers and the dial is signed.
