Very rare watch with lever escapement

A very rare quality pocket watch, made by A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte, Sachsen, Germany, circa 1915. The numbered open faced case of this watch is crafted from 18 carat gold and has a monogram on the back lid. The white enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and gold hands. The numbered superior quality movement has an A. Lange & Söhne precision lever escapement, a fine adjusting device, a gold lever, a gold escape wheel and a minute wheel gold chaton.
Case and movement have matching numbers and dial and movement are signed.
