A fine German 14 carat yellow gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch made by
A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte, circa 1925. It features a manual wound mechanical movement with a ¾ platinum swan neck index and lever escapement. The two-tone gold dial has a sunburst guilloché center, black Arabic hours, a railroad minute track with 24 hour numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and oxidized steel Breguet hands. The case has a reeded bezel, floral engraved band accented with black enamel, two-tone gold covers with vertical ribbing, an oval bail and a fluted crown. Case, dial and movement signed.
