Gold J. Assmann hunting cased pocket watch
–
A German very fine large Glashütte lever chronometer, manufactured in quality 1A, circa 1903. The movement has been mounted in screwed gold chatons – from the gold escape wheel to the minute wheel – and is of superior quality as well as in excellent condition. The polished and hunter case with its sharp edges and the three-part dial with its golden minutes track are equally flawless; this is one of the first class lever chronometers Glashuette was so famous for.
White enamel dial, Arabic numerals, Louis XV hands, subsidiary seconds dial, 14k pink gold hunting case, glazed movement, dial and movement signed.  3/4 plate movement, screw compensation balance, diamond endstone on balance.
