An important, extremely rare Glashuette lever chronometer with chronograph – so-called CHRONOSCOPE, circa 1870. Silver case, polished, pusher for chronograph at 9. Enamel dial, radial Roman numerals, blued spade hands. 3/4 plate movement, diameter 50 mm, frosted, gilt, screwed gold chatons, finely ground, bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, large gold screw compensation balance, gold lever and escape wheel, fine florally engraved balance cock.
