A very fine, large and heavy Glashütte hunting cased pocket watch, ankerchronometer, sold in 1911 for 890 marks, circa 1911.
18-carat rose gold, polished case, design “Lucia à goutte“, gold dome with presentation engraving: “Wilh. Munds, Dresden”, glazed movement. Enamel dial with Arabic “Empire” numerals, auxiliary seconds and gold Louis XV hands. 3/4 plate movement, frosted, gilt and signed, with screwed gold chatons, gold screw compensation balance, florally hand-engraved balance cock, index spring fine adjusting device, gold lever and escape wheel and chatoned diamond endstone on balance.
