A very rare and heavy German 18 carat gold hunting cased minute repeating perpetual calendar with day, moon phases and leap year indication, circa 1911. Sold to Comp. L. Rommershausen Nachf., Wiesbaden for 2.258 DM on 23 June 1911. Quality 1A movement, lever escapement. White enamel dial with black and red Arabic numerals. Plain case. Dial signed, case, cuvette and movement signed and numbered. Comes with a Certificate of Origin, a copy of the register and a letter confirming the rarity of this watch.

This piece was made by Hugo Müller, who was the technical director of the company Deutsche Präzisions-Uhrenfabrik Glashütte eGmbH from 1918 to 1925.

A. Lange & Söhne manufactured close to 100,000 watches over its 100 years of history, however, only seven including the present watch were made with minute repeating, perpetual calendar, date, day and moon phases. This highlights the incredible rarity of the present watch.
