Silver Glashütte navigation watch by A. Lange & Söhne

A Glashütte navigation observation watch of the German Navy with a 35-hour power reserve display, circa 1944. The watch has a plain silver or silvered case with a pushback and the national emblem. It also has an engraved naval application number M 12531. The dial is fluorescent and has Arabic hours, outer minute divisions, a power reserve indicator at 9 o’clock, subsidiary seconds at 3, and blue steel hands. The movement is a 2/3 plate and has a nickel steel screw compensation balance. The case is numbered, the movement is signed and numbered, and the watch comes with a Lange extract from the archives.

The raw movement was sold to the Deutsche Seewarte in Hamburg, Gesundbrunnen branch on November 7th, 1944, for 133 RM. The production stage 3 test acceptance also took place on the same day. Andreas Huber of Munich-Berlin completed the process.
