A rare numbered German silver deck watch of the German Kriegsmarine, made by A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte, Germany, circa  1920. The open faced plain case of this watch is crafted from silver has barely recognizable remains of the military markings. The white enamel dial has an outer ring with Arabic numerals for the hours, a subsidiary seconds dial at six o’clock and blued steel hands. The gilt movement has a precision lever escapement, A. Lange & Söhne DUF quality, a fine adjusting device and a gold escape wheel.
Case and movement with matching numbers and dial and movement signed.
