A rare Glashütte gentleman’s pocket watch in a silver case with a silver watch chain, circa 1932.
Sold in 1932 for the sum of 550 Reichsmarks – manufactured in quality 1A – with original box and original papers.
Silver polished case. Signed enamel dial with Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds, blue “24h” and gold cathedral hands. 3/4 plate movement, frosted, gilt, with screwed gold chatons, gold screw compensation balance, florally hand-engraved balance cock, index spring fine adjusting device, gold lever and steel escape wheel and diamond endstone on balance.
