An historically interesting silver pocket watch, made by Friedrich August Adolf Schneider in Glashütte, Germany, circa 1860. The numbered case of this watch was crafted from silver and features exceptional engine turned decorations, a coined band and gold hinges. The cuvette is also engine turned and has an empty cartouche. The white enamel dial has Roman hour numerals and steel hands and the movement features an early Glashütte precision lever escapement.
