A very interesting German cylinder watch with a very rare calibre, circa 1815.
Magnificent fire-gilded cylinder movement with a very unusual calibre. Plain polished silver case, case maker’s mark IBP, dust cover inscribed in German Wilhelm Gerwig 1815. Simple enamel dial with Breguet-style radial hours, outer minutes track, and fine gold Breguet-style hands.
