A fine German Glashütte open-faced pocket watch, manufactured in quality 1A, circa 1890.
Silver, polished, à goutte case with a gold crown, pusher, hinge and shackle and dome with engraving “H. Eibel, Wien“. Signed enamel dial with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, and blued spade hands. 3/4 plate movement, frosted, gilt and signed, with screwed gold chatons, gold screw compensation balance, fine engraved balance cock, index spring fine adjusting device, gold lever and escape wheel, and chatoned diamond endstone on balance.
