Pocket watch with engine turned case

A precision pocket watch, made by A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte near Dresden, Germany, circa 1902. The numbered case was crafted from silver and is engine turned on the back with an empty cartouche in the center. The white enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and blued steel hands. The movement has an A. Lange & Söhne precision lever escapement, a gold lever, a gold escape wheel and a fine adjusting device.
Case and movement have matching numbers and dial, case and movement are signed.
