An extraordinary Glashütte marine observation watch with original box and original papers, circa 1917.
Signed and numbered precision lever movement with a gold escape wheel. Signed enamel dial with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and blued steel hands. Unusual, chrome-plated/silver-plated metal, engine-turned case, screwed, and with factory glazing. An original box labelled Assmann Marine Uhr and with original replacement glass. Original papers with matching numbers.
