This is probably the earliest noted half hunting cased pocket watch by Julius Assmann, quality 1A, rare gold and enamel case Dresden circa 1865, 18 carat gold, case with deep engravings, spring lid with enamelled chapter ring, green enamel with white numerals, dome signed and numbered; case, movement and dial with matching numbers, very early Julius Assmann precision lever movement, prime quality 1A, 2/3 main plate, separated escape wheel bridge, solid golden wheels, diamond endstone, gold lever, gold escape wheel, screwed gold chatons, blued steel screws, gold and silver dial also signed and numbered, steel hands, 1 of only 4 noted Assmann watches in this edition.. According to our knowledge, this watch is the earliest still existing piece and the only one with green enamel.
