A large gold and enamel verge pocket watch with painting, signed HRI, circa 1800.
Gilt verge movement. Enamel dial with Arabic radial hours, outer minutes track with five minutes numerals, and pink gold hands. Two cases (pair case): gilt protective case, glazed, splendid gold case with 5-part lateral hinge, worked in 2 colours, and back with fine enamel painting, surrounded by a fine white enamel rim (restored). Dial with repair at the winding hole.
