An extremely rare form pendant clock in the shape of a curtain lock, circa 1820.
Gold-plated case with a hinged bow on a velvet chatelaine with gold-plated decorative elements at the lower end, a push button that opens the spring cover, underneath the miniature white enamel dial with Roman numerals, on the backhand position and winding also hidden under a cover, a miniature cylinder movement.
