Rare pocket watch with special enamelling technique

An extremely rare and heavy gold and enamel pocket watch with special enamelling technique, made by Isaiah Robert in London, England, circa 1810. The open faced case of this watch, which was crafted from very solid 18 carat gold, is pair cased, has 1810 London Hallmarks, a back lid with very special enamelling technique, imitation raised pearls and blue paillonné inlays, a rim with a floral garland and a plain inner case. The white enamel dial has Arabic hour numerals and the original gold hands and the numbered movement has a magnificent English verge escapement.
The movement is signed.
