A German heavy Glashütte gentleman’s pocket watch – lever chronometer – manufactured in quality 1A, circa 1922. Sold in 1922 for the sum of 130.000 Marks with box and certificate.
18 Carat gold, polished, à goutte case, case design Lucia, with a gold dome and glazed movement. Signed enamel dial with Arabic Empire numerals, auxiliary seconds, and gold Louis XV hands. Signed frosted, gilt 3/4 plate movement with screwed gold chatons, gold screw compensation balance, florally hand-engraved balance cock, index spring fine adjusting device, gold lever, gold escape wheel, and chatoned diamond endstone on balance.
